As stated in the title I was decommissioning my old SBS 2003 server. As such, I was removing the CA service from the server. The problem is that I accidentally removed it from the new WSE 2016 server!
I reinstalled the role, but configured it as a new CA. Now I don't see any devices in the dashboard, including the WSE server.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? I assume I can reconnect the clients to the server, but I'm not sure about the server.
The best approach is to uninstall the Essentials Experience role and run the cleanup wizard during removal of the role. After that install the Essentials Experience role again and run http://servername/connect on your clients. That will bring them back to the Dashboard.
