The Server Folders tab shows "Refreshing the list of items" but never shows the previously setup folders. Yes the "Windows Server Essentials Storage Service" is running. Restarting the service and reloading the Dashboard seems to resolve the problem. What is interesting is this server has been configured to backup using the Acronis Cloud Backup client. I noticed that the backups seem to stall and take off as soon as the Storage Service is restarted.
Is this a known issue with W2016?
I was able to resolve this problem by restarting and making sure all updates were installed. The Acronis backup now completes and the Essentials Storage Service remains running.

That could be a conflict with VSS writers and Acronis. I would contact them.
