Migrate Exchange Server 2003 from SBS 2003 R2 to a new Exchange Server 2010 on Windows Server 2012R2

In this guide, we migrate the Exchange Server 2003 Mailbox Store and Public Folders Store from an SBS 2003 to a new Windows Server 2012 R2 with Exchange Server 2010. This is basically a hub because later we will introduce another Windows Server 2016 with Exchange Server 2016 installed which will be the end result of this Exchange Server migration, this guide can be found here How to migrate Exchange Server 2010 to Exchange Server 2016 in a SBS migration scenario. A direct migration path from Exchange Server 2003 to Exchange Server 2016 was blocked by Microsoft.

This is a rather complex and lengthy process. The whole guide has 25 chapters and as always every step has a screenshot and explanations.
